A RESTORATIVE AND REGENERATIVE sojourn

Unapologetically Alive

Four nights to return to the body, reconnect with its intelligence and restore your vitality from within.

You may not be tired in a way that rest alone can fix.

You may simply have reached a place where something in your life is asking to become different.

A way of living. A relationship. Your health. Your work. Something you want to create. Something you can feel before you have words for it.

And when so much of life is spent responding to what is already here, it can be surprisingly difficult to hear what is trying to emerge.

The Sojourn creates the conditions to deepen sensation, replenish your inner reserves and reconnect with the living intelligence within you — so you can hear more clearly what is asking for your attention to come ALIVE.

ADELAIDE HILLS · 26-30 NOVEMBER · FOUR WOMEN · FOUR NIGHTS

Do You Recognize Her?

She is great at her life. Frighteningly good, actually.

She knows what needs booking, buying, organising, replacing, answering and remembering. By any reasonable measure, she's thriving.

"How are you?"

"Fine. Good. Busy. Fine."

Competence has excellent camouflage.

Because underneath a life that still works, something has begun to move.

Things she used to tolerate irritate her now.

Things she once said yes to no longer feel like an easy yes.

Desire turns up at inconvenient moments wanting inconvenient things.

Grief occasionally turns up at Woollies, in the yoghurt aisle.

And something else keeps returning.

An idea. A longing. A different way of living. A relationship she wants to meet differently. Work she can feel herself growing toward. Something she wants to make, begin, change or finally give room to.

She may not even know exactly what it is yet.

Only that certain things feel more alive than others. That what once fitted doesn’t fit quite as easily. That sometimes she catches sight of another possibility and cannot quite forget it.

Nothing is falling apart. That’s almost the point.

The life still works.

Something in her is simply asking for more room.

Your body isn't separate from the life you're living.

It's where you feel everything first.

We’ve simply grown used to disconnecting from it — leaving it out of the conversation.

And what first shows up as tiredness, restlessness, irritation, or changing desire is often the beginning of a larger question:

What do I actually want?

What Do I Actually Want?

What Do I Actually Want?

There comes a point when overriding yourself becomes second nature.

We learn early what makes a good woman: be considerate, be grateful, don't ask for too much, keep things together. None of these qualities are wrong.

But underneath the sensible question — what should I do — there's an older one, and it isn't interested in being sensible:

What do I actually want?

More rest. More energy. More pleasure. More money. More freedom. More intimacy. More space.

• To feel good in your body. Strong. Rested. Energised. Sensual. Comfortable in your own skin.

• To care for your body rather than conquer it. To enjoy inhabiting it. To let its limits matter.

• To be touched differently. To be listened to. To stop being the one who holds everything together.

• To create something beautiful. Earn more. Work less. Travel. Stay home. Be alone. Be deeply accompanied.

• To feel beautiful again. Turned on by your own life.

• To say yes without first calculating who might be inconvenienced.

Desire doesn't have to arrive as a fully formed plan. Sometimes it begins as an appetite. A curiosity. A pull. A longing. A flicker of energy around something you had almost forgotten mattered to you.

When you've spent years being considerate, capable and accommodating, even allowing the question "what do I want?" back into the room can change something.

Maybe the question was never which parts of you need editing out. Maybe it's what becomes possible when the wanting, hungry, particular parts of you are allowed into the conversation too.

That question can become surprisingly difficult to answer.

Not because you want nothing.

Because wanting has spent years negotiating with being sensible, considerate and realistic.

So begin simply.

What do I want?

More energy. More pleasure. More freedom. More intimacy. More space. More possibility.

• To feel good in your body.

• To be looked after without having to earn it.

• To be touched differently.

• To make something beautiful. Begin the work you keep thinking about. Earn differently. Travel. Stay home. Be alone.

• To feel turned on by your own life.

• To say no without preparing a defence.

• To say yes without first working out who it might inconvenience.

Desire doesn't arrive as a plan.

It begins as a pull. Curiosity. Appetite. A flicker of energy around something that feels more alive than everything surrounding it.

Not every want needs acting on.

But it deserves to be heard before you explain it away.

The Price of Being the Woman Who Never Makes a Fuss

The Price Of Always Being Fine

Consideration is beautiful — until you are the only person it excludes.

At some point, being reasonable becomes a quiet form of self-mistrust — a place where "I'm fine" stops describing how you feel and starts performing how you ought to be. Years slip by like this.

The real conversation gets postponed. The automatic yes keeps coming. Resentment gets mistaken for tiredness. The creative idea remains an idea. Intimacy thins. “Fine” becomes habitual.

The quietest cost is the energy it takes to override what is alive in you:

• To stay agreeable when you are angry.

• To say yes when your body has already said no.

• To make yourself smaller, easier, quieter.

• To think your way around what you know in your bones.

• To manage everyone else’s comfort before attending to your own.

Your life force isn't gone; it is occupied maintaining the status quo. And that is energy less available for pleasure, creativity, intimacy, desire, expression, receiving, choice — and the experience of being fully present inside your own life.

The tragedy isn't that your life falls apart. It’s that it stays intact, while you live further and further away from yourself inside it.

None of this requires immediate action. Truth does not ask you to upend your life today — it simply asks for a seat at the table.

Consideration is beautiful, until you're the only person it leaves out.

So the real conversation waits. The automatic yes keeps coming. Resentment gets called tiredness. The idea stays an idea. Intimacy thins. Fine becomes a personality.

Fine is expensive.

It takes energy to keep overriding what's alive in you:

• Staying agreeable while you're furious.

• Saying yes when something in you has already said no.

• Thinking your way around what you already know.

• Making yourself smaller, easier or quieter because it keeps everything running smoothly.

Nothing has to collapse for this to cost you.

The life can keep working while something important remains unlived within it.

And you probably don’t need another answer.

You’ve made the list. Read the book. Listen to the podcast. Called the friend. Did the courses. Thought about it from every angle.

What’s harder to find is enough room to notice your own response before you improve it, justify it or talk yourself out of it.

That’s what The Sojourn makes room for.

Not another answer.

Enough space to hear what is alive — and return home with the vitality, clarity and inner authority to bring it into your life.

THE SOJOURN

Four Nights. Four Women. One Home

Σπίτι · The House

Nobody is going to hurry you around the Adelaide Hills collecting experiences.

We stay home.

An architect-designed country house, set privately on 100 acres of rolling hills, vineyards and native bushland. Horses in the paddocks. Kangaroos making their own arrangements.

Fires inside and out. Beautiful rooms to gather in, quiet corners to disappear into. You choose, hour by hour, which one you need.

And a bedroom that is entirely yours: a door that closes, a bed with no negotiating side and no one's elbow. The exhale that comes when you realise nobody is waiting on the other side of it.

The house is beautiful, but that isn't the point. The point is being considered. For four nights, you're the one who is remembered.

Τραπέζι · The Table

A plate is put in front of you. Nothing to plan, buy, cook or clear.

I grew up Greek-Australian, where there is always room at the table. Food mattered. Conversation mattered. Consideration mattered.

Small gestures said: I knew you were coming. I thought of you before you arrived. There's a place for you here.

Chef prepared meals are built around seasonal regional produce, generous simplicity, and the underrated pleasure of having nowhere else to be. You eat because you're hungry, not because it's noon. From time to time, something from my own Greek-Australian table finds its way into the kitchen.

Care, made tangible.

Παρέα · Four Women

Three other women, and nobody to manage.

Four is intentional. I speak personally with every woman before her place is confirmed. With a gathering this small, who's at the table matters, and I can stay close to what's happening for each of you, not only the room.

Conversation becomes an unhurried mirror: witnessing without demanding, holding without fixing.

You don't have to become best friends. You don't have to tell your whole story, or share before you're ready. Speak, or listen. Laugh, cry, sit quietly. Some things will be said aloud. Some won't need to be.

You can be with other women without leaving yourself.

Σώμα · The Body

Mornings begin in the body: movement, breath, Qigong, stretching, dance, or whatever impulse turns up uninvited. Nothing here needs mastering, which may feel suspicious at first, given how long you've been graded.

Move in ways that feel good. Notice what your body enjoys before the day starts telling you what to do.

Later, we move into deeper embodied and energetic practice — working with movement, breath and the body’s subtle energy system to deepen sensation, restore vitality and reconnect you with the power within.

I guide intuitively, following what arises through the practice. At times an image, energy, symbol or impression may enter the work and become part of what we explore.

Αντίληψη · Relational Counsel

Woven through the four days, privately and together, Relational Counsel helps bring language to what the deeper work is revealing.

I listen for the sentence underneath the sentence: the flinch, the qualifier, the word you keep returning to, the “I shouldn’t complain, but…”

We bring what is arising through the body, conversation and inner practices into clearer relationship — so what you sense can be recognised, trusted and, where it belongs, begin to be lived.

It is conversation, not therapy, and does not replace it.

RELATIONAL COUNSEL

Meet Your Steward

I spent more than thirty years watching people arrive, at hotels, resorts, airports, tables, unfamiliar places far from home.

I became fascinated by what allows a person to soften: the details, timing and attentiveness that let someone know they've been considered before they arrive.

Hospitality taught me far more than service. It taught me to notice. The mood in a room. The thing not being said. The difference between giving someone attention and making her feel watched.

That inheritance now travels with my Relational Counsel and the work I have shared with more than 500 women.

I recognise the moment a woman begins editing her own response because I know the manoeuvre intimately.

I stayed reasonable when I was livid. I called things fine that were not remotely fine. I negotiated with my own knowing like it was a difficult vendor.

I know the distance between what a woman senses and what she's willing to say out loud. I've lived at that address.

Beneath the noticing is a deeper practice.

I work through embodied practice, meditation, movement and the body’s subtle energy system — guiding women into relationship with their own inner intelligence, life-force and the power already within them.

Together, we meet what has been quietened or overridden — restoring vitality and making room for what is asking to emerge.

At times, an image, symbol, sensation or impression may arise that feels particular to the woman in front of me. These become part of the conversation — another way of listening beyond what words alone can reach.

I am interested not only in what a woman knows, but in what becomes possible when she stays in relationship with that knowing long enough for it to begin shaping how she lives, loves, works and creates.

The Sojourn brings these threads together: a house chosen with care, a table already considered, women I have spoken with myself, embodied and energetic practice, Relational Counsel — and enough space to meet what is alive in you before the world tells you what to do with it.

The Four Movements Of The Sojourn

— and enough space to meet what is alive in you before the world tells you what to do with it.

The Four Movements Of The Sojourn

I · RETURN

Come back into the body.

Step out of constant doing and begin to arrive in yourself again.

Before deciding what anything means, you feel what is actually here.

The movement: From living from the outside in → returning to your own experience.
II · RECONNECT

Listen for what is already moving within you.

As the noise softens, sensation, desire, feeling and inner knowing have room to come forward.

Something you have been overriding may become clearer. Something you could not yet name may begin to take shape.

The movement: From overriding your inner signals → reconnecting with the intelligence within.
III · REPLENISH

Restore what has been running low.

Through rest, nourishment, embodied practice and subtle energy work, you begin to refill from within.

Not simply taking a break from your life — restoring the vitality with which you meet it.

The movement: From constant output → replenishment and receiving.
IV · REGENERATE

Let what is alive begin to take form.

As vitality returns, so does your capacity to stay with what is true — a desire, a creation, a relationship, a decision, a different way of living.

You do not have to force it into a plan.

You begin by giving it somewhere to live.

The movement: From sensing what is possible → beginning to live it.

Four Nights, and After

The real measure of these four nights is not what happens while you are here.

It is what becomes more available to you when you go home.

You return to the same life — but with more access to yourself inside it.

You notice sooner when something is costing you energy.

You hear the no before it becomes resentment.

You recognise the yes that brings something in you alive.

You know when you need rest, when you need movement, when you want touch, space, company or solitude — and you become less likely to override yourself simply because someone else needs something.

A conversation you have been avoiding becomes easier to approach honestly.

A desire you kept dismissing begins to deserve your attention.

An idea that has lived in the margins of your life finally has somewhere to go.

You may change the way you work.

Ask for something different in a relationship.

Begin caring for your body from affection rather than correction.

Protect time for the thing you want to make.

Make the appointment.

Speak the boundary.

Begin the first page.

Or simply stop abandoning what you know the moment it becomes inconvenient.

Because the change is not only what you do next.

It is the relationship you have with yourself when the next thing appears.

More vitality to meet it.

More sensitivity to what feels alive and what does not.

More trust in what you perceive.

More capacity to stay with desire before making it sensible.

More discernment about what deserves your time, energy and life.

And more courage to let what matters begin taking up actual space.

You don't need to leave with your future mapped out. You may leave knowing one thing more clearly.

What you want.

What you don't want anymore.

What needs your attention.

What you are ready to begin.

What you need to stop feeding.

Or simply what deserves to be listened to before you decide anything at all.

And from there, something can begin to become real.

A different relationship with your body.

Greater honesty in love.

Work that feels more like yours.

A creation that no longer survives on leftover time.

Choices that reflect what you actually value.

A life with more room for pleasure, desire, energy, intimacy, creativity and truth.

Not because four nights gave you a new life.

Because more of you is available to participate in the one you are creating.

You return home more able to recognise what is yours — and more resourced to live it.

Not becoming a different woman.

A woman ready to take what she has been sensing and begin bringing it into her actual life.

You May Be Wondering...

Is my situation serious enough to justify coming?

Nothing has to be wrong. You do not need to be at breaking point. Sometimes a woman simply reaches a threshold where something deserves her attention. Something has changed. Something keeps returning. Something feels more alive than it used to. You do not have to wait until it becomes an emergency before giving it room.

I'm not really a "women's retreat" person.

Good. Neither forced vulnerability nor compulsory sisterhood is on the itinerary. You can talk deeply, laugh about ridiculous things, or sit quietly. Taking part is part of the agreement. Sharing is not. You are not here to perform closeness. You are here alongside women who are also standing at a threshold — each listening for what is asking to change, emerge or become real in her own life. There is something powerful about being in the company of women on a similar inner journey, without needing your lives, stories or desires to look the same.

Four nights away feels difficult to justify.

For many women, that sentence is part of the terrain. You do not need to prove that you are tired enough, unhappy enough or confused enough to give four days to something that matters. Sometimes what needs your attention isn't a crisis. It's a possibility, a desire, a change you can feel beginning. You don't have to wait until it becomes urgent before giving it room.

What if I spend this money and nothing changes?

I can't promise your life will change, and I'd be wary of anyone who did. What I can tell you is what these four nights are designed to create: enough interruption from the usual noise, responsibility and self-management for you to feel yourself differently. To restore vitality. To reconnect with the intelligence of your body. To notice what keeps returning. To recognise what feels alive. And to become clearer about what may be asking to be created, changed or lived differently. You may leave with an answer. You may leave with a clearer question. You may simply leave with enough of yourself restored to begin living something you already knew. You are creating the conditions to meet what comes next with more of yourself available.

Why can't I just take a holiday?

You can, and a holiday might be exactly what you need. Rest, good food, sleep, a change of scenery: all excellent. But rest and replenishment are not quite the same thing. The Sojourn gives you both. You are looked after enough to soften, while we also work through the body, Relational Counsel, meditation and subtle energy to restore vitality and deepen your relationship with what you feel and know. What feels alive. What has gone quiet. What keeps returning. What may be asking to change, emerge or become real. You are not leaving your life behind. You are making room to return to it with more energy, more clarity and more of yourself available for what comes next.

I'm not very spiritual. Will this be too much?
You don't need to consider yourself spiritual. We work experientially through movement, breath, meditation, embodied practice and the body's subtle energy system. There is nothing you need to believe or manufacture. I’ll explain the work more fully when we speak, so you can decide whether it feels right for you.

Is this therapy?
No. It's conversation, and it doesn't replace therapy or medical care. If you're going through something particularly difficult, tell me when we talk, and we'll work out honestly whether this is the right place and the right time.

You Do Not Have To Wait Until Something Breaks

We are very good at waiting until something becomes impossible to ignore.

The relationship reaches breaking point. The body says enough. The work becomes unbearable. Exhaustion turns into depletion.

But crisis does not have to be the price of listening.

Sometimes the signal is quieter:

Something has changed.
Something keeps returning.
I don't want to keep living like this.
I don't know what I want, but I know I want something more.

There is something I want to make.

I can feel myself growing toward something.

I don't know what comes next, but I know something is asking for me.

You could keep going. You're probably very good at it. But being able to continue as you are does not mean that what wants to change should have to wait.

There is a place before the breaking point — and before the fully formed plan — where you can choose to pay attention.

Not because your life is falling apart.

Because something in you is asking to become more fully lived.

t

AN INVITATION

Unapologetically Alive

Your body is not separate from the life you are living. It is where you are living it.

Maybe you're tired of pushing through. Maybe you simply miss feeling good in yourself: rested, sensual, energised, interested in your own life.

Or perhaps something keeps returning.

An idea. A longing. A conversation you know needs to happen. A way of working that feels more like you. A relationship you want to experience differently.

Something you want to make, begin or finally give room to.

You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what it means. You do not need the plan. You need enough space to hear it.

Enough vitality to stay with it. Enough relationship with yourself to recognise what is true before you make it reasonable.

Come and be received.

Eat well. Sleep deeply. Move without hurry. Listen. Feel. Laugh. Want. Restore.

Let the body become louder than the noise around it.

Let what has been quietly asking for your attention have somewhere to land.

And when Monday morning arrives, you won't be a different woman.

But you may return with more life available.

More clarity about what matters.

More trust in what you know.

More capacity to meet what is changing.

And more of yourself available to bring what is true into the life you are actually living.

Four women.

Four nights to return to the body, reconnect with its intelligence and restore your vitality from within.

Adelaide Hills. 26–30 November 2026.

There is a place at the table.

A private intake form and confidential conversation with me. Four guest places only.

May you meet what is yours to live.
